After reading about the benefits of clapping, I decided to try it during a slow morning at work. I stood up from my desk and began clapping rhythmically, even adding a little sway to make it fun. Within a minute, I felt more energized and alert. It seemed silly at first, but the change in energy was real. I laughed at myself, but also felt more ready to tackle the rest of my to-do list. I now use this habit as a quick reset when I hit that mid-afternoon slump. It’s especially great between meetings or while waiting for my coffee to brew. I even got a few coworkers to join in!
