AI and Voice Data Sharing
Before covered OpenAI, ElevenLabs, or Cloudinary processing, the app shows a provider and data-purpose disclosure and requires an explicit affirmative choice. Closing the disclosure or choosing Not now declines consent; Premium access and device permission do not count as consent.
To review the current choice, open the app, sign in, then open Profile > AI and Voice Data Sharing. The page shows whether consent is allowed, declined, or needs renewal and, when available, the decision date.
To withdraw, use Profile > AI and Voice Data Sharing > Withdraw consent. Future covered AI generation, raw-audio transcription, generated voice, automatic reflection feedback, daily recaps, and Premium weekly generation stop. Non-AI habit tracking, manual habits and reflections, completions, streaks, progress, reminders, and deterministic screens remain available.
Reflection-use and voice playback controls
In Profile > AI Coach, turn Use reflections in coaching off to exclude reflections from coaching context and reflection-specific coaching generation. This preference is separate from withdrawing all external AI and voice consent.
In Profile > AI Coach, turn Coach voice replies off to stop automatic generated playback. Playback buttons can also be stopped while audio is playing. Turning voice playback off does not delete text or previously generated data.
Auto coach nudges can be turned off separately in Profile > AI Coach. Withdrawing external AI consent is the broader control and suppresses covered automatic provider work.
Microphone, camera, photo library, notifications, and device permissions
The operating system controls whether One Minute Habit can use the microphone, camera, photo library, and notifications. You can deny a prompt or change the permission later in the One Minute Habit entry in iOS/iPadOS Settings or Android app settings.
Microphone access allows recording on the device; separate external consent is still required before raw audio is uploaded to OpenAI for speech-to-text. Camera or photo-library access allows selecting an image; applicable media consent is still required before a custom-habit image is uploaded to Cloudinary.
Notification permission controls device delivery. Reminder mode and times are managed separately in Profile > Preferences. Disabling notification permission or reminder settings does not delete the account.
Account deletion
Account deletion is initiated inside the app. Sign in, then use Profile > Delete Account, scroll to the deletion card, and choose Delete Account. The normal path does not require emailing support.
For security, the session must have been issued recently. Review the permanent warning, acknowledge deletion, type the displayed confirmation phrase, and confirm. Deletion is permanent.
Deletion removes app data and sessions, including profile and authentication links, habits and Habit Sets, custom habits, completions, streaks, progress, reflections, preferences, reminders, generated feedback and reports, consent records, notification and weekly-email records, local Coach history and app caches, and internal entitlement, trial, and reward associations.
Owned custom-habit images and generated weekly narration are scheduled for Cloudinary deletion when identifiers are available. OneSignal user cleanup is requested. Notifications, reminders, automatic provider work, and weekly email are disabled while deletion is processed.
A limited pseudonymous deletion journal can remain for security, idempotency, abuse prevention, and completion evidence. Providers or stores may retain transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, security, backup, cache, or verification records under their own policies. Provider deletion is not promised to be instantaneous.
If a required deletion step fails, retry in the app. Contact support only as an exceptional fallback at support@1minutehabit.com and include the time of the failed attempt.
Contact support about a deletion failureSubscription cancellation is separate
Deleting a One Minute Habit account does not cancel or refund an App Store or Google Play subscription and does not stop the store's renewal. Cancel or manage the store subscription separately.
Apple: open iOS or iPadOS Settings > your name > Subscriptions, or use the Manage Subscription link in the One Minute Habit subscription screen.
Google: open Google Play > profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, or use the Manage Subscription link in the One Minute Habit subscription screen.
